Number/Text Converter stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Conversion History: Your recent conversions (if history tracking is enabled)
• User Preferences: Your settings such as font size, grouping options, and display preferences

All data is stored using Chrome's local storage API and never leaves your device.

The stored data is used exclusively to:

• Display your conversion history within the extension
• Remember your preferred settings between sessions
• Provide a better user experience

Data Control

You have full control over your data:

• Clear History: Delete all conversion history through the History sidebar
• Disable Tracking: Turn off history tracking in Settings
• Reset Settings: Return to default settings at any time
• Uninstall: Removing the extension deletes all stored data

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services, analytics, or external APIs. No data is transmitted over the internet.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage: To save your conversion history and preferences locally
• contextMenus: To add a right-click menu option for quick conversions
• clipboardWrite: To enable the copy-to-clipboard feature

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

Updates to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date below. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
